onsari is yet another German social network which launched two days ago. The site has all the features you might expect from a social network: you can create a profile, hunt for friends, send them messages, upload photos and organise them in albums, write a blog, get a guestbook and so on.
What’s interesting is that onsari seems to be schizophrenically indecisive about their target user group, whether they should go for the party crowd looking for events and flirts, for students, for business folks, for real estate agents or for aspiring models.
There is a competition for becoming onsari’s next topmodel, there is a section for buying or renting real estate, they are teaming up with organisers of events and want to promote them on onsari, they want to host private and business events themselves, they want to be all sorts of things to all sorts of people. It doesn’t really help that the site is mostly implemented in flash which at times is responsible for below average load times without really providing a superior experience.
onsari was developed by Patrick Landrock, Marc Antwertinger and Thomas Fankhauser. They are based in Leinfelden-Echterdingen.

Why the fuck you must blog about such a joke network? You are the second one who gives the best on it. When all the good techblogs post stroies about such badly jokes, such offerings had won, because that is what they want to achieve with their exorbitant statements.

I think a good techblog should write about all kinds of startups. People will use a service or product when they like it or need it, not just because of reading a blogpost about it. Thanks to blognation for trying to cover all kinds of tech companies.
I also think that onsari’s goal is unreachable, but we will see. Now it’s their turn to prove if they can actually reach 2 mio registered users by the end of 2007.
